Armenian Church diesis in Germany and Katholisches Bildungswerk Köln in cooperation with Klingen Choir and Cultural Association London

and Martiros Sarian House-Museum Yerevan presented
Concert dedicated to Armenian composers Alexander Spendiaryan and Lazar Saryan. It was the 1st concert presenting music by these outstanding composers in Cologne on Friday, 10 November 2023, 19.00 in Domforum Köln.
The location of the concert hall was unique as it was at front of the Cathedral (Dom) in Cologne.
Concert artistic director Sipan Olah arranged orchestral pieces by legendary composers for this concert so the musical ensemble from the UK and Germany was able to present these pieces.
With and opening speech the Domforum’s director Will Rainer welcomed the audience and guests at the beautiful concert hall. The secretary of the Armenian church Saiat Boiajian presented the biography and achievements of Al.Spendiaryan and L.Saryan and presented all musicians
The concert featured pieces performed by well-known musicians Sipan Olah - tenor, conductor and artistic director from London, Anush Nazaryan - soprano from Cologne, Maria Palazian - piano from London, Jack Hagop Mouradian - oboe from London and String quartet: Lyusi Hovhannesyan I violin, @Asta Mamikonyan II violin, Sargis Sarukhanyan viola, Dmitrij Gornowskij cello from Cologne.
His Grace Bischof Serovpé Isakhanyan delivered a speech about the legacy of the Armenian composers and thanked to all musicians for their outstanding performance. The director of the Domforum also thanked to all participants and organisers for such a unique and enchanting concert.
