Greece does not intend to transfer Russian-made S-300 surface-to-air missile systems to Ukraine. This was stated to journalists at a briefing by the official representative of the Greek government Pavlos Marinakis.
"This in no way corresponds to reality. The Greek government had no intention to jeopardize the country's defense and its defense policy," Greek government spokesman Pavlos Marinakis told at a briefing.
Earlier, the media reported that the Greek Defense Ministry would send obsolete weapons systems, including Tor, Osa, S-300 and ZU-23-2 anti-aircraft systems, to Ukraine.
